Petbarn Fountain Gate

Wanted to buy some grooming products, spent approx 20 mins in the store, no staff helped or greeted us. Upon purchasing staff checked if I was a member, I said I was unsure, staff used my mobile number to check, said I wasn't a member but didn't offer to sign me up, it wasn't until I left the store that I realised I could've had some savings by becoming a member. Poor customer service experience

went recently for a grooming : essential tidy. young girl was polite but the older lady who was working on my dog was rough and forceful with my dog, when i got my boy back he still had some matting on his chest, left with a mild limp and still had tear stains around his eyes and his mouth area and i was charged a handling fee ($15) which i've never received before. my dog has been to many groomers before haven't had an issue with this. But the older lady from my observation from the glass wall was very impatient with my dog and in the bath she dried him using a hairdryer without covering his ears and dragged him around quiet a lot. after i got him him back from the grooming session he had a mild limp for a day which was concerning, i asked them to be extremely careful with one of his legs as he had an fmo surgery done around 2 months ago(fyi i've consulted with my vet beforehand and he gave us the green light and there shouldn't be limping after). when they were cutting around his eyes, they continued to cut around his eyes when he was moving around, shaving right in front of his eyes while he was moving around which is something i've never seen before, conceding. little attempt to calm him down shouldve been more gentle and reassuring. clear disgard towards a dog's emotional distress. highly reccomend chadstone petbarn groomers over them.

Brilliant customer service from Jay at the Fountain Gate store. My MIL and I are both getting puppies next month. Jay was patient with us with all of our many questions, without being impatient. We were talking to him for quite some time while getting our purchased items, we will be coming back to petbarn for puppy school as well. I specifically took my MIL to the Fountain Gate store because of Jay, as he's always been friendly and helpful when I had questions about my other pets. Outstanding customer service. You can tell he has a real love of animals, happy to assist. He's always been positive and cheerful to all customers I've seen him deal with. He really makes customers feel that he cares, doesn't make customers feel that they are an annoyance.

Perfect place for your puppy needs very helpful staff I received a puppy care bag with wet meat and dry food and foldup water bowl, pamplets about booking him in for he's first groom once he's fully vaccinated and a great book at the back are pull out vouchers over $170 worth of savings and also details of puppy school which is a must 🐕‍🦺

I don’t usually give reviews how ever the service we just received was disappointing we where attending puppy school where they tell us to bring in the family including kids and when our 5 year old child was busting to go to the toilet we waited patiently at the counter when the stuff member was free we asked to use the toilet for my daughter the staff member rolled her eyes at us and rudely said na I said it’s a small child and she’s busting can we please use the toilet the stuff member told us no and to walk 10 minutes to the fountain gate shopping centre or to go to MacDonalds also 5 minutes walk away considering it’s a hour long class that they tell us to bring children it’s pretty bad to not have facilities for customers.
